Glyndebourne L'Orfeo Hand Fan
It was a true honour to collaborate with the renowned visual artist and director William Kentridge on this limited-edition custom hand fan, created to mark his debut at the Glyndebourne Festival with a bold new staging of Claudio Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo. Adapted directly from his original set design sketches, the striking, arched pattern marries perfectly with the inherent shape of the hand-fan. The resulting piece is a wearable work of art, inviting you into the dramatic, evocative world of the opera.

Wedding Hand Fan - Favours
Each of the 80 guests were treated to a modern, elegant take on the classic Spanish hand fan. The caballero "gentleman's" shape hand-fan has straight sticks which in this case were mounted in 4 different colours and embossed with LOVE IS IN THE AIR - the message printed on the Groom’s hand fan and the anthem of the day.
Ten Year Anniversary Celebration Hand fan
This beautiful hand-fan was custom made for a spectacular anniversary celebration at the Borgo Egnazia hotel in Italy. 300 lucky guests were gifted one of these Spanish-made polished beech fans. The lemon print perfectly accented the idyllic scenery packed full of lemon groves and spectacular architecture.

Worshipful Company of Fan Makers Hand fan
Khu Khu were honoured to work with The Worshipful Company of Fan Makers on a custom made hand fan to raise funds for the Lord Mayor's appeal on the theme of Reflection and Hope.
It provided an opportunity to reflect on the eighteen months of the Covid pandemic and to look ahead with a spirit of optimism. The striking new folding fan was designed by Bruce Oldfield OBE, one of Britain’s leading fashion designers.
