Khu Khu are thrilled to announce the launch of this Spring's Collection, A Fan for all Seasons.
Inspired by the glory of flowers in bloom, we love the correlation between bud and hand-fan bursting open to wow us with their striking colours and charming compositions.
We were also influenced by the symbolism of flowers and their representation in art and culture. Did you know that Crepe Myrtle, seen in the Summer hand-fan, stands for good luck and love in a marriage? It symbolises the balance of male and female energies, so there’s no better flower to gift a bride or take with you to a wedding.
Or that the Anemone depicted in the Spring hand-fan (from the Greek word meaning “the wind’s daughter”) is commonly known to represent anticipation, optimism, joy and enthusiasm?
There are so many beautiful messages amongst the petals, so each fan comes with an illustrated tag giving the meanings of the flowers in that season's 'bouquet'.
