As the end of an amazing Summer approaches, you might be feeling the pull of those end-of-holiday blues, but don’t go there! With the end of Summer comes the beginning of Fashion Week, so there’s a lot to look forward to.
The second series of Fashion Weeks are held annually every September, starting in New York and followed by London, Milan and finally, Paris. This is an opportunity for designers to show their Spring/Summer designs for the following year, setting down the trends we’re most likely to wear next season. The full schedule can be found HERE.
Fashion Weeks are very exclusive events, attended by only selected members of the fashion industry, as well as celebrities and of course, the press. However, this year marks a very special change because London will be the first of The Big Four to open its doors to the public. Now you can purchase a ticket for £135+ to have access to a catwalk show, you can visit the BFC Positive Fashion Exhibition and/or the Positive Fashion Talks which include a complimentary drink and LFW tote bag.
And another reason why this LFW is so special? Just around the corner from its 180 The Strand location, THE LONE DESIGN CLUB are bringing a new kind of fashion experience to shoppers and industry professionals alike in their Concept Store at 138 Longacre, Covent Garden. Visitors will be offered the chance to discover unique and one of a kind products from a carefully co-curated brand selection of independent designers - the best + brightest in 20+ women's wear, accessories and lifestyle brands. There will be brand and collection presentations, an opportunity to meet the designers behind the brands, exclusive and exciting daily events, a beauty zone and a Lanique Bar serving chilled drinks. So if you are searching for something truly unique and want to discover brands before the rest, this is the place to go.
And the best part? KHU KHU will be there! I will be there, with the fans, so please come and say hello, I’ll also have samples for some of the 2020 collections, so just ask and I’ll be happy to show you a sneak peek!
